2012 Annual Meeting Phoenix

The American Optometric Foundation would like to thank our sponsors, donors, awardees and volunteers for making Academy Phoenix another huge success. The meeting resulted in over $100,000 in generous donations and pledges. Approximately 270 supporters attended the Foundation’s Celebration Luncheon and the silent auction, featuring several Borish paintings, raised over $14,000. In addition, thirteen new individuals and couples joined the Presidents Circle by making pledges or donations of $10,000. The Presidents Circle now has 100 total members.

Former AAO President, Robert D. Newcomb, OD, MPH, FAAO,  signed copies of the new book, The History of the American Academy of Optometry: 1987 - 2010 at the AOF Exhibit Booth and to raise funds for foundation programs.

Silent Auction

This year the Foundation offered several unique items as part of the AOF Silent Auction including the last available art pieces produced by the late Dr. Irvin M. Borish.

Join our growing list of supporters by calling 321-710-3936 today to discuss your participation at Academy 2013 Seattle. Your items are in-kind, tax deductible contributions at fair market value.
