The Legacy Society recognizes those individuals who have included AOF in their estate plans. Contributions received through bequests are a vital part of our planned giving program and help endow future programs and initiatives. A donor may choose to designate the American Optometric Foundation as the recipient of a bequest through his/her will by naming the Foundation to receive a specific dollar amount or percentage of the residual estate. Gifts by will enable a donor to make a significant contribution to AOF while retaining full control of his/her assets.
