The Academy's Scientific Program offers scientists, educators, and clinicians the opportunity to exchange the latest information in optometry and vision science. During the paper sessions, researchers present the results of their unpublished research in classic lecture format (15 minutes). Authors summarize their work and field questions from the audience. Poster sessions involve the visual presentation of recent research findings with authors available for discussion.

Guidelines for Posters
Wednesday, October 22th
All posters must be up for display on the assigned board by 9:00am
Posters are displayed for the entire poster session from 9:00am to 6:15pm
Posters taken down between 6:00 and 6:30pm
Authors of ODD numbered posters present from 2:00 - 4:00pm
Authors of EVEN numbered posters present from 4:00 - 6:00pm
Thursday, October 23rd
All posters must be up for display on the assigned board by 9:00am
Posters are displayed for the entire poster session from 9:00am to 5:30pm
Posters taken down between 5:30 - 6:00pm
Authors of ODD numbered posters present from 1:30 - 3:30pm
Authors of EVEN numbered posters present from 3:30 - 5:30pm
Friday, October 24th
All posters must be up for display on the assigned board by 9:00am
Posters are displayed for the entire poster session from 9:00am to 3:00pm
