Abstract A 22-year-old pregnant African-American female with Type 1 diabetes presents with a chief complaint of sudden-onset blurry vision, and is diagnosed with proliferative diabetic retinopathy, rapidly worsening clinically significant macular edema, and large choroidal nevus.
