Abstract To evaluate parameter stability of Quantum 2 lenses, ten lenses in each of four powers were manufactured. They were measured on a calibrated radiuscope after manufacture and then at intervals up to one month in hydration. Mean changes in back optic zone radius after one month ranged between +0.002 at +5.00D to -0.01 at -10.00D. The equivalent changes in PMMA were -0.02 at +5.00D and -0.05 at -10.00D. In all cases the variance of data over the ten lenses was less for Quantum 2 than for PMMA.
