California plays host to a vast array of beautiful flora, with the California Poppy (bottom right) as their  state flower.  Within 30 miles of Anaheim are numerous state and regional parks: Limestone Canyon, Caspers, Chino Hills, Whiting Ranch Wilderness and Trabuco Canyon to name but a few.
