RS-01: New Horizons in Presbyopia

The presbyopic population is growing more rapidly than any other segment of the population. Patients are now asking for a solution. For a patient with a clear lens, the best option out there is a corneal inlay. There are 2 currently approved inlays and a third on the horizon. This course will educate the optometrist on the various inlays, method of action, patient selection and postoperative management. LASIK and PRK surgery have come a long way since first being approved by the FDA. A wide range of patients are within the limits of laser surgery but not everyone is a good candidate. In this presentation I will share some of the conservative limits we take at our office to get great results with the least amount of risk.
