Abstract

A male patient suffers sequential retro bulbar optic neuritis separated by weeks. Clinical and radiologic features are somewhat consistent with the clinical diagnosis of neuromyelitis optica, however, work-up reveals multiple sclerosis is the differentiating etiology.
