Adult patients with systemic disease may develop ocular complications. In the pediatric population, these concerns exist as well, in addition to concerns about visual development and management that differ from the adult population. This course will review systemic conditions found in young patients, such as diabetes, JIA, neurofibromatosis, ans others, and review ocular concerns for the eye care practitioner.
