American Academy of Optometry Foundation announces the 2017 Beta Sigma Kappa Research Fellowship Recipient

ORLANDO, FL (September 27, 2017) The American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF) in collaboration with the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society, is pleased to announce Adam J. Peiffer, OD, as the 2017 recipient of the Beta Sigma Kappa (BSK) Research Fellowship. Dr. Peiffer is an Advanced Practice Fellow and Clinical Instructor at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. The fellowship is designed to provide support for early career optometric and vision science faculty research. This award will fund Dr. Peiffer’s project, “Collaborative Assessment of Neurocognition and Vision in Adolescents with Sports-related (CANVAS) Concussion Study”.

Dr. Peiffer will be honored at the AAOF Celebration Luncheon during the American Academy of Optometry’s Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
