American Academy of Optomerty Foundation Announces the 2018 Korb-Exford Dry Eye Career Development Grant Recipient

ORLANDO, FL (October 5, 2018) The American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF), is pleased to announce the 2018 recipient of the Korb-Exford Dry Eye Career Development Grant. Stephanie Ann McLin Cox, OD, FAAO, is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Tuft Medical Center in Boston, MA.

In 2010, Drs. Donald Korb and Joan Exford generously donated $25,000 to establish this grant to support an individual to further their knowledge in the broad area of dry eye.

Her proposal titled “Neurological Aspects of Dry Eye Disease”, was chosen out of eleven very competitive proposals. Dr. Cox will receive a $25,000 grant and will be recognized at the AAOF Celebration Luncheon during the American Academy of Optometry’s annual meeting in San Antonio on November 7-10, 2018.
