The Binocular Vision, Perception, & Pediatric Optometry (BVPPO) Section of the American Academy of Optometry would like to welcome you as a candidate for the Diplomate Program. We offer both a Clinical and Research Diplomate program in our Section. The specific guides will serve to acquaint you with the requirements and procedures for becoming a Diplomate in the Binocular Vision, Perception, & Pediatric Optometry Section. We believe that the learning experience you are embarking on is a rewarding one. Not only will you profit from the added knowledge from your studies, but you will also achieve satisfaction in the recognition of your expertise in binocular vision, perception and pediatric optometry. After you have successfully completed your candidacy, we hope your interest will keep you curious about new advances in the field, as well as accepting new responsibilities and leadership roles within the Section.

Please review the requirements carefully and if you have any questions, contact your advisor or the Diplomate Chair.
