As a SIG we will benefit our members by, organizing and improve communications between optometrists at different Academic Medical Centers. We will offer assistance with practice management, teaching tools, and case reporting. Our interest group is will promote the field of Optometry in Medical Centers, like hospitals and care centers.

Mission Statement

As providers of optometry in academic medical centers and practicing with the highest standards expected by our communities, we come together in a spirit of collegiality to offer support for one another, serve as a resource for those within and outside the SIG and provide a bridge for common interests between all providers of health care for the greater good of the patients we serve.
